REVIEWS:

"...a seemingly effortless display of emotive, melancholic lyricism and gleaming guitar work... Resistor is a wonderfully warm, vulnerable and accessible album."
- Heidi Drockelman (Indie-Music.com)

"...what really knocked me out was the way it was sequenced... and right smack dab in the middle of the compact disk called 'resistor' you find the title track, and it is instrumental and the guitar playing is quite good..."
- Richard Milne (WXRT radio)

"...one of the best guitar players I have been fortunate to hear while working for MWB.... a MUST HAVE for your collection if you enjoy hearing a guitar at all..."
- Jen Lush (Midwestbands.com)

"Chicago guitar whiz A.J. Rosales clearly knows his way around his instrument and he's no slouch in the vocals department either... gifted and innovative guitar technique."
- Mike O'Cull (illinois entertainer)

"a cool, vibey listen from stem to stern...Good stuff from a solid artist."
- Robin Cracknell (americana-uk.com)

"...worth listening to just for the acoustic experience.."
- Steve Allat (musesmuse.com)

"Resistor is an album that caught my ear right from the start and the music forced me to listen a few times before processing everything offered... When music gets your attention like that, it is something special."
- Keith "MuzikMan (muzikreviews.com)

AJ Rosales: guitar, vocals / lyrics, keyboard, arrangements, production

This is an "acoustic" CD that showcases the many diverse facets of his playing style, from pop to rock and folk, and even to more accomplished elements of jazz and classical. The album features a natural production sound to express his musical ideas, almost sounding like a live performance. The sparse but effective production captures the essence of each tune.

Two video playlists are included on this page: One for the highlighted tracks from this album, and one for AJ's entire featured music catalog there.
